Armor swapping?

do some of you guys know if it's possible if you put your armor in the storage than delete your character from who the armor was, than make a new character with the same profession and the same name, and than put the armor on that character? if someone know, post it plz!

No you cant i tested it a while back.

Say your character is called John Smith. The server registers you as John Smith 001

So the second one will be John Smith 002 and so on. The armor is registered to that server code.

Makes sense what you say i figured somethingn like that may happen but i never tried it.

Yep, I thought the same thing and tried it also. Didn't work. That was way way back before Factions came out. It might be dif now, but I doubt it.

No worries, i figured i'd test it before i remade characters.

That's been known for a long time, but that's a beautifully simple way of phrasing it, Barek - nice!

Every time you create a character, its assigned a unique ID independent of the name. If you delete it and have items assigned to a character and create another one with the same name, the ID will be different.

You can always salvage all your armour for runes and materials at least you get something back.

people that made chars before survivor came out could put their FoW instorage, remake the char, get survivor and then put that armor back on if that were possible
