Rit Build for the Glacial Griffon

I was just looking around for a good build to use when I'm ready to fight the Glacial Griffon and I saw many spirit spam builds for it, but I was wondering if anyone used a VwK build for it? I like to use arcane echo and VwK with my rit for farming and it seems like it would be a GREAT build for fighting the griffon, am I crazy or what?

As far as VwK, I don't think it'd work like you would think. When he first arrives, he lays down some spirits and hides behind them. Waiting for you to draw him out. And even then, when he comes at you, he lays down more spirits before physcially attacking you.

Then when he gets low on health, he will run away from you and hide behind his spirits. Slowly regen'g his health and waiting for you to draw him out again.
