Alright here is the deal: I want to make a new pve ranger. I'm really big on naming my characters and having their names coincide with each other in a way. Example: My warrior is named Valor of Zealot. I chose valor because it reprensents bravery and courage and thats what a warrior has, correct? My paragon is named Spear of Zealot because he obviously uses the spear. My dervish is named Scythe of Zealot.
I would like to have my characters names all have "________ of Zealot" because Zealot is my game name that I use for all games that I play.
So I want to make a ranger but can't think of a good word to put in the blank that really represents what a ranger is really about. Rangers are good with bows, love nature, use pets.
I would prefer to have a word that represents a "ranger" to fill in the blank and its recommended that the word is a 'virtue' or 'value' such as my warrior is Valor of Zealot. Valor meaning courageous. Are there any other words that anyone can think of that could represent a ranger well?

Another note: I am very serious about naming my characters so any 'funny' names are not going to be considered.
Any help would be appreciated.

My other characters names:
Warrior = Valor of Zealot
Paragon = Spear of Zealot
Dervish = Scythe of Zealot
Ranger = ??? of Zealot

#1 Vigor Of Zealot - Vigor meaning - The capacity for natural growth and survival, as of plants or animals.

#2 Dexterity Of Zealot - Dexterity meaning - Skill and grace in physical movement, especially in the use of the hands.

Bow of Zealot would be a fairly obvious choice... but perhaps something like Guile of Zealot? It seems like it would work for a Ranger, Mesmer, or maybe Assassin.

Sly would work too, it's kinda similar of a word, both referring to a ranger's resourcefulness,

What about Nimble? Or Speed?

What about Tamer of Zealot ? It refers to the Ranger's Beast Mastery attribute.

Ok I realize I am really strict about this. I dont really like names that refer to a certain attribute of the rangers' such as the beast mastery attr. Because if i picked tamer of zealot, ppl would think ok he uses a lot of beast mastery... but i would really prefer a general word that doesnt refer to any specific attr. (The reason why i didnt chose sword,hammer, or axe of zealot for my warrior.)
But what if i had tamer of zealot as the name but used a ranger warrior build with a hammer? or a ranger necro build with a staff? it wouldnt really make sense. I realize i am too strict on this but oh well.
And whoever said guile of zealot gave me a good idea for a mesmer.

maybe you can switch it around so that it is "Zealot Of _____" I was thinking of something like Zealot of Piercing, since rangers usually use arrows, which do Peircing damage

As for switching the name around to zealot of _______: the more consistency between all the names of my characters the better, but i would only switch it around as a last resort. Im sure we could think of something without changing it.

And well i figured i would never ever make my dervish or paragon use any other weapon besides their scythe and spear so thats why i chose those names for them.

Why am i so serious about names? When i see other peoples names and their names like "Kneegro Mancer" or something like that... i just think that guy is a total loser. Then if i look at someone named " Slayer of Destroyers " then it sounds kinda cool and it looks like to me that whoever is playing that character is a little more serious about GW. And i guess i like serious ppl that want to get stuff done on GW more than those who make up dumb names [in my opinion] and dont do squat.

It could pertain to nature or a rangers relationship with beasts/animals.

I think Vigor of Zealot is the best one so far..
Would still like a few more suggestions tho...

Sorry to say this but your definition of cool is lame.

I mean how many unoriginal names do you see in any game? There's like Azn X Fart Flyer or Azn Dark knight 372 or Slayer of Darkness 5555 or Lucky Fighter Dragon. Luckily theres no numbers in GW. At least Kneegro Mancer is original.

I agree with Jam Jar, Slayer of Destroyers isn't really a cool name.

And the character's name has nothing to do with the player's seriousness about Guild Wars. Some people have very weird names and still they're alot more serious about this than I am.

Well slayer of destroyers was just a bad example then. And it is almost impossible not to be judgemental. I chose to judge GW players by their names. It is my own way of determining who might possibly be good/bad at the game. Just my own personal way of doing it and no need argue with it.

Environmental Zealot.

Since you've narrowed your choice to two, I think "Dexterity" sounds more like a ranger than "Vigor" because it fits with the ranger's primary attribute, Expertise. But that is just my opinion. Name your character what you like.

Well actually I chose Defiance of Zealot... because I like to think of it as a ranger defying the harsh elements of nature and the environment.
This thread can be closed now unless people want to keep replying. Doesnt matter to me as i already picked a name.
