Time for another contest, yayay! There's been little activity in the art forums lately, but hopefully this contest will get more people creative again.
The concept for the contest is for participants to dress up 2 characters (Kedlai and Lestat), add a background (optional), and give the picture a unique fun theme.
Here's the black'n'white lineart participants will base their artwork on:

Colour reference for the characters (remember, participants are encouraged to design their own outfits for the characters):

The rules for the contest:
-You have to design clothing for each character and add some kind of fun theme. For instance, the characters could be dancing in a Tyrian club, they could be swashbuckling pirates, they could be playing volleyball, they could be rockstars... or whatever you can think of!
-However, there's a small limit on what themes you can use. If the scene you're making could be considered rude (like turning the characters into lovers) then don't bother with it! Only family friendly fun fun happy happy themes will be accepted.
-You're free to modify the original lineart to make it suit better for your idea (for instance, changing the distance and position of the characters, or tweaking their pose).
-The only thing which is required for an entry is designing clothing for the characters (you can feel free to dress up the characters in the clothing they have in game (shown in screenshots above), but that would be boring!) Adding a background, adding colours, adding other characters or adding other misc stuff is completely optional but very encouraged.
-The entries will be judged based on how fun they are. Although having exceptionally nice looking artwork is always a plus, the focus is on creative and fun themes.
-The original artist (Perynne) of the lineart is free to join as well. Since the idea of the contest is unique and creative themes I don't think she'll have any advantage compared to other participants. And the entries will be judged with absolutely no bias (except for a bias on fun, fun and fun).
-When you've made an entry just post it here in this thread. www.imageshack.com or www.photobucket.com works nicely as host for any artwork you've made.

1st place: 200k
2nd: 100k
3rd: 75k
4th: 60k
5th: 55k
6th: 50k
7th: 45k
8th: 40k
9th: 25k
10th: 20k
But that isn't all, there's one more prize list! *gasp*! If you make an alternate entry adding my sock puppet into the picture in an amusing way, you'll get the chance to win something in the second prize list.

An after-contest party where the prizes will be handed out will be announced after the contest is over.
Some extra rules:
-You're free to submit as many entries as you want. Just keep in mind you can only win one prize from each prize list.
-I reserve the right to spontaneously change the prizes. That means all the prizes will most probably change to 1g each (kidding kidding! If the prizes are changed at all, it'll be to increase them).
-If there's demand for it, the contest may be extended with a few weeks. That'll be decided when we get closer to the deadline and I'll update the thread if that happens.
-Feel free to ask any questions you might have regarding the contest in this thread, or you can send a private message to me.
-The contest thread has been posted over at gwonline forums as well (http://guildwars.incgamers.com/forum...php?p=5297415). Once the contest is over entries from both threads will be merged and we'll post a thread announcing the winners on both forums.
