Slayer - Class based on Norn
agriasreinas
Well this class is pretty much an extension of the Norn skills seen in GW:EN but not as overpowered. The Slayer would rival the warrior class. Their attack skills will be adrenaline based.
Slayer
The slayer is a melee class equipped with claws that uses the blessings of the Bear, Wolf, and Raven. Their wild and feral powers can demolish any opponent that comes in their way.
They are also the only class that can use uppercut attacks to fling enemies into the air(Knock-Up) for 2 seconds(basically opposite of k/d's, I thought this would better the action of GW's since they added the Z-axis). While the enemy is in the air they take 10% more damage.
* Role-Damage
* Weapon - Claws (gauntlets/gloves with three long claws attached)
* Armor - High armor
* Energy - Low
* Range - Melee Range
Attributes:
*Claw Mastery - damage with claws.
*Aspect Blessings - take on the 3 aspects of bear/wolf/raven. (primary)
*Ursan Force - Various skills of the bear.
*Volfen Force - Various skills of the wolf.
*Raven Force - Various skills of the raven.
Skills: (elites)
Claw Mastery:
*Raven's Talons - Strike foe twice. The first hit causes bleeding and the second hit causes deep wound.
*Bear Strike - +damage, foe is knocked-up into the air for 2 seconds and suffer from daze for x seconds.
*Volfen Strike - +damage, foe is knocked-up into the air for 2 seconds and suffer from deep wound for x seconds.
Aspect Blessings: (Similar to the Gwen skills but time based)
*Ursan Blessing - You take on the aspect of the bear for x..x seconds. You have +10...20 armor and +100...200 maximum Health. 1..10% chance to knock-up enemy when using non-elite attack skills skills. All Enchantments upon you are removed.
*Volfen Blessing - You take on the aspect of the wolf for x..x seconds. You have +60...100 maximum Health and move 25% faster. 1..10% chance to cripple enemy when using attack skills. All Enchantments upon you are removed.
*Raven Blessing - You take on the aspect of the raven for x..x seconds. You have +60...100 maximum Health and cannot be knocked down. All Enchantments upon you are removed.

ROFL @ knock-up >.<
Getting enemies pregnant is a sure way to get rid of them >.<
Anyway, i feel an ursanway flame fest coming up :S
I like the concept by the way, but it seems like a combo between the derv (avatars), the warrior and the sin.

Well mid-air combat would rock, wouldn't mind some marital pouncing either.
FIG TREE MAN

It's an interesting concept to say the least, but we'd see thousands of them running around everywhere.

As long as this has balanced Ursan, so that the original Ursan can never get into GW2 I'm 4 it.
And roflol at the Beastiality references

There are always minorities in MMORPGs whether we want to admit it or not. The cool flashy classes that have awesome looking weapons and moves will always be picked first over the classes with the best utilities, ( in most cases, mind you.)
In fact, a prime example would be a Monk in GW. Now we all depend on these lovely little heal batteries, and smiting monks can be very deadly when used correctly. But honestly, a utility class like this takes skill to play. Skill that is developed over days, weeks, months, and even years of play time.
All a Sin has to do is chain a few correct combos together and he's dancing about the screen looking all cool and flashy and everyone is like "OOOOOOO"
Monk's have nothing flashy about them. They cast spells. Spells that are seemingly useless when it comes to showing off. However, it's a utility class. It's not meant to look pretty. It's meant to WORK! To be effective! Sure a Sin can kill someone very quickly, but the Sin is like a bottle rocket. Shoots off in the air, explodes, looks pretty, then crumbles into ash.
A Monk is like a 500 shot saturn missile pack. It lasts a long time, is very loud, and quite effective when you strap it to the side of your vehicle, light it, and drive through a quiet suburbs.
This Slayer CC is just like a Sin. Cool looking, effective to a point, and flashy. Everyone would be playing this class and utility classes like the Monk would be left in the dark while this Slayer takes the spotlight.
"Good job Slayer. Way to own those mobs."
GOOD JOB MONK! YOU KEPT THE SLAYER ALIVE!
I'm glad we have players that understand utility tactics to keep flashy gung-ho characters alive.
So if everyone started playing Slayers, where would all the monks go? The Slayers would die.
If we didn't have Slayers...well...Monks could just respect Smiting and go own just as much.

And if they played a healer for a while I suspect they'd learn a thing or 2 about how they should be playing.
And a error, as how good monks would those players make?
I'd say e4y1 should go through all classes and find what they feel is the most fun playing. If someone feels compelled to play as an all fire ele without even a rez, then I'd expect people to yell at him until he fixes his build.
You however did make a useful comment you may or may not have intended too.
============================
Dual wielding claw weapons and martial pouncing/leaping sounds a lot like an assassin, dualling daggers and shadow stepping.
It does need some reworking.
Having 3 different attributes for 3 different forms, makes the use of forms hardly dynamic, you'd just be stuck in 1 form as you need attributes in the primary, claw mastery and a form attribute, that doesn't leave any to switch between different forms depending on what your team needs you for at that moment.

Still seems a little Useless.
Just give All-Norns Transformation Skills done.
