reserve name for GW2

Just a litle suggestion.

Wouldnt it be nice if you could (if you want) reserve your existing names
of GuildWars for your characters in GW 2.
Probably there will be a lot of players who dont want to have the same names
reserved, but it would be nice if there was a option in for example in HoM
to reserve your name..
I now there will be some kind of monument.. but it doesnt tell us if this is
preventing other players to use the same name as calld on the monument.
(if there will be a name on it??)

I know, I would like to use atleast one name that I use now at this moment
that I would love to use in GW 2 as well.
there for I like to reserve a name of my existing character for a character in
GW2.

Is this hard to implant such a thing in the game

Err...check the GW2 wiki.

Pretty sure it mentions that some names will be reserved for us to use in GW2.

Original Guild Wars characters

Characters from the original Guild Wars campaign will not be migrated to play in Guild Wars 2. Guild Wars 2 will be a fresh start. Some of the items and titles will be available to players of Guild Wars 2 through a Hall of Monuments which is available to players who have Guild Wars Eye of the North. Names will also be reserved through this system.
