what's the best fire weapon for an ele running searing flames ? I have zhed running with Exuros will as it gives +60 health. Is this the best weapon or is there anything better ?

20/20 Wand and 20/20 offhand.

No competition.
the kurzick eater
use a wand and offhand that gives a total of 40% recharge and 40% casting time like alex said.

Isn't it possible to have a staff with 40/40?

nope
the best you can get is a 40/20 of ... (where it will be enchanting most likely)

No competition. Pretty much right but you seem to be looking for something green based on your mentioning exuros will. So basically you want Droknar's Fire Focus with Hajkor's Flame or Droknar's Fire Scepter. So if your looking for a green they're the ones that give the best stats

thanks guys sorry for being a nub but can you explain why a 20/20 is better than exuro's which has these stats:
* Energy +10
* Fire Dmg: 11-22 (req. 9 Fire Magic)
* Halves skill recharge of spells (Chance: 20%)
* Energy +5 (while Health is above 50%)
* Health +60
particularly when using a superior vigor rune which -75 health

A dual 20/20 set allows an ele to maximize his offense by allowing him to cast more spells faster than any other weapon set - and he'll have the energy management to do it.
Essentially, it maximizes his offense with no real downside - +energy mods are useless to an ele who's already sitting on 70/80 energy, and +hp mods are negligible.
And I'm assuming you meant sup Fire rather than Vigor? If so, stick to minors - the paltry damage increase offered by superiors pales in comparison to making poor Zhed as squishy as a kitty; especially given that heroes cannot change armour and suck at kiting damage sources.

No competition. In a single element build like SF, this is correct.
But if you're running a dual element build or a Mind Blast build with a bunch on non-fire/secondary/PvE spells on your bar, you might want to consider a 40/20 staff instead, with either a +30hp or 20% enchantment mod as the wrapping (depending on build). I say this because the 20% recast bonus on the staff in universal.
So instead of a 36% recast bonus for fire only (or whatever your main element is), you'll get a 20% recast bonus for all spells, plus a bonus +30hp or 20% enchantment mod.
I definitely see a benefit there for certain builds.
