How to run from EotN to Gunnar's Hold?

I've searched but I can't find anything on this particular topic, so I'd like to answer the question; how can a buffed character (specifically, a NF elementalist) run successfully from Eye of the North to Gunnar's Hold? I've tried it twice already this weekend, once solo and again with a partner, and gotten killed both time, spoiling my attempts to get Survivor level 1. In your experiences, what's the best way to go about it?

Take 3 heros and 4 henchmen. Then follow the green arrow.

Run up the ice lake, flag your hench ahead of you to draw the aggro from the first two mobs of imps, then you're free to just run from there.

You see, Saturday night I was being run on that route by a very experienced elementalist. She suggested the route through Jokor and his wolfpack, but it turned to disaster when first she got killed and then I got killed. I seem to remember that when I tried it solo (with the 3 hero/4 henchie group) I fell to an ice elemental/Avalanche group. So, what to do?

If you mean the ice lake around EotN, I didn't encounter any ice imps there during my two previous runs. As to the other ice lake to the north of it, I gave it a wide berth both times.

It's easy enough getting from EotN to Gunnars. Just take a full group and follow the quest marker. Fight off any mobs that will get in your way.

Basicly just go around it as you would normaly do.

just fight, gunnars isnt that far away once you get to norhart, and if you have a full hero/hench group you should have no problem. I recently did this on my paragon and dervish and they made it fine just fighting, and they were lvl 10 going for fronis irontoes power leveling, which I am guessing you are wanting too?

Eye of the North to Gunnar's Hold is a very short trip.

I do just take 3 heroes and 4 henchies, and follow the quest marker. If you and your NF heroes are not max level, bring Vekk, Ogden and Gwen plus 4 henchies of our choosing.

To all intents and purposes, everyone in EotN is level 20, thanks to the Journey to the North blessing.

I think my Ranger ran my L10 Ele to Gunnar's - 2 accounts ftw

[edit]If you're anything close to GMT, send me a whisper in-game and I'll run you there for nothing

You do not need to fight anyone from eotn to gunners hold...

Its easy to bypass all agro if thats what your looking to do...

Well all the guys who go to kilroys punchout for survivor ..

so you can display a title with no work involved
