^ that's a bad paragon bar if it has weak damage output. Paras are for damage AND support. Support is just secondary. They can fit support on their bar because it is not as cramp as say a warrior bar. Where a warrior would need a snare and speed boost, a paragon being ranged does not. Therefore they can use one or two skill slot for support.
A spike for a paragon is just spear attack skill + Harriers Toss. You're obviously will be part of a spike because you won't kill anything at full health with that. Paragon are more for pressure dps than spike. So don't try to make a bar that can spike a target alone, it will probably be something awkward
