Where can I get some stat upping, NICE looking armor...

Where can I get some decent stat upping armor that looks nice? I'm currently level 9 and this is my first character, but I want some nicer armor. Is anyone willing to run me through some place so I can get whatever I need to buy nicer armor or something?

Decent stats you can have by adding runes and insignis to your armor but i dont recommend doing this till you get max armor or have lots of gold.

Running your first toon somewhere would be the complete opposite of helping you. Follow the story line, you'll lvl up, get new skills, and some gold from the foes you kill.

GW is not about getting to the end boss as fast as possible, its about skills and knowing how to use them.

I'd have to agree with Miska. Go at your own pace, even if that means getting nice armor later on than you'd want. It might also help you if you checked out the GuildWiki for armor pics and required materials, and where you can find them.

The only thin I do really is run missions (minus the cut scenes, so annoying) and get gold lol. I'm not real big on the quest stuff.

aye, maybe you do find them boring but since you don't know that there are no "stat-upping" armours (all armours have the same inherent base modifiers except for armour level or rating) I would suggest that you are, just maybe, not quite ready for the southern shiverpeaks and the joys of the Mursaat or equivalent for whichever campaign you are playing.

Anyway, have fun and just do what you enjoy

Hmmm.....I would suggest that maybe you go on over to gw.gamewikis.org and have a look around and then start a PvP character....cuz from your reply there, you're obviously not interested in anything that is happening to your character and only care about the hacking and slashing.

Level 9? Upping your stats? You don't HAVE any stats! Sorry...I just mean that you have only just begun your character and it seems like you want to be max level already...have you even been to Piken Square yet? Grendich Courthouse? When you get to LA....then you should start looking for better armor...which as it happens... is available there.

EDIT: Why did you hit the Role Playing creation button if all you're interested in is "end game" stuff? Or do you mean End of Story-Game as in....get through the whole story? Well...good luck with that and don't expect it to happen in one night or have any understanding about how to play your character. Oh yeah....don't expect to get any groups in the few areas where you need to PUG because no one will want to team with someone who doesn't know their profession.
