New Char

Hmm im thinking about making a new char and i cant decide between Ranger or a Paragon !!!!! any ideas what would be a funner char to play? hehe

Yeah, Ryker is right. And that's all the answers you're gonna get here basically, so I'd recommend heading to the wiki and deciding for yourself.

All you're gonna get here are opinions from extremely biased people...which will more then likely lead to flaming...so get out now while you can.

I prefered ranger over paragon.

Ranger is more fun. You can survive in hard battles, be pain in the ass to eles, make runs in missions n stuff..

What he said. It is all a matter of style and taste. I played a ranger, but now play a para and like it much better. Alot of that is because I like Nightfall much better than Prophecies. Definitely check out the professions in the Wiki: general info., skills, and how they work with secondary professions. I think really looking at the available skills will help you decide...primary and secondary.

r/me....was my husbands first character---interupter ftw!! Though he uses it more as a poison and degen than interupting.
( I have the other way around me/r---more energy and fast casting, but still an interupter).
I think you will enjoy playing a ranger.

Paragons are really powerful.
That said, I don't particularlly like either of them (just not a fan of ranged physical attackers). I find ranger more fun though due to interuption.

Another cosideration...what do you want your role to be in groups?
