The commander is a profession which calls upon various battalions of troops to aid him and his allies in battle. He also provides useful shouts to his party and units. His true strength relies within his units but when threatened he can hold his own with his equally adept skill with a sword and bow.

The Battalion
You can only have one battalion at a time.
Your battalion get's it's own bar much like a hero. All of the formations are on your battalion's bar like a hero bar, but you cannot add or remove those formations. The battalion's bar shows itself in the pet or ally part of the party box.
Units cannot go through each other or other party members.
Units each have their own attack interval so some might be faster at others at attacking.
Units respond to target calls.
If a unit cannot reach its target due to other units or other party members in the way then it will attack the closest reachable target.
Units don't all attack the same target if there are other enemies within nearby range of their 'primary' target. This means that there will be a kinda volley aoe effect over an area. If an arrow hits a target then it will do damage. It's realy just random if you know what I mean.
Units are all male, each with their own random appearance.
Units have a natural health regen like players.
(There are probably more things about the battalions which I had in my mind when I started this but I have most likely forgotten them and ain't bothered trying to remember them.)
