Should i report?

ok so i was monking in ra then i call this guy a noob (new player noob not rude noob) then he starts spamming me and this is what happens.

anyway should i report him and should i worry about what he could do if he gets my ip?

keep in mind i was trying to be as nice as possible even though i might of pissed him off a lil.

In the end it's your call, but from my perspective, noob is not exactly a compliment. You may not have been trying to come off as a dick, but you did never the less

Don't report. You did kind of encourage him.

Its really up to you if you are going to report him. You could very well report him for verbal abuse or obsene(sp?) language.

As for him finding you IP address, it would be extremely difficult for him to unless he knew more about you, because he would only get the IP to the GW server.

No reason to import. Just so immature brat trying to be all pro at life. It's nothing new. No reason to report especially since as others have pointed out, you did kind of egg him on. Had you put him on ignore and he kept harrassing you in local that would have been a different story.

Umm... Report him because he responded in kind to what you said? I'd say no. You started it, and it also looks like you gave as good as you got. It's very hard to distinguish between 'noob' and 'noob' anyway.

In the off chance he were to get your IP address and do anything, then it would be more of a police matter than an Anet matter.

Just FYI, he can't find your IP. He's just trying to scare you and playing on the fact that you think he can find your IP.

for small stuff such as afking during a round of RA i dont report... people have other stuff to do sometimes, ya know?

but for stuff like that.. where they just keep pissing you off.... i would report them if he/she acted that stupid. theres no reason to act like a hardass over a video game.

Really, it doesn't even matter if you "report" him or not. The fact that you have taken what he said and let it get to you SO badly that you screenshot it and post it here proves that that random kid has gotten the best of you, therefore has already won (since we all already know you are taking this as serious business).

Your integrity is questionable and so is your age here, because your inability to deal with your everyday imbecile shows your lack of experience in the real world, because if you were to dwell on them like you dwell on this random internet kid, well... god only knows.

i recommend you dont report just ignore him.
its kinda of pointless to report people for abusing and using bad language if we have an ignore feature.
its best to report for serious things like botting and stuff,

newb=newbie (someone who is new at the game)
noob=arrogant, incompetent, cocky, plain bad at the game (someone who sucks but won't listen to advice on how to get better)

Learn these differences for future reference

And I would say don't report only because you started it and you played his game.
