Please answer my qustion: HOW did I sell items for cash? WHAT did I sell? With WHOM? Please explain with evidence.
I'm just an ordinary GW player. I accumulated my in-game money and items little by little on my own. You may call this farming, but everyone may farm in GW and I did it for my own pleasure or gave some of the items to my friends. That's it! No illegal trading whatsoever. Just because I come from China doesn't mean I have to be one of those stereotypical gold farmers. Did I get banned because of your prejudice against us? Is this the so-called "freedom and equality" advocated in America?
Please be responsible for what you said. Again, I want your evidence or my account back. Thank you.

It is possible Anet has made a mistake but it's still very unlikely. You had to have done something wrong for them to close your account permanently, why would they go out of their way to ban someone just for being Chinese.
There's nothing any of us can really do but maybe someone will chime in with something intelligent to say about this matter.

The fact that A-net provide no hard evidence is pretty bull if you ask me. What do they got to lose anyways.
Also I don't see why you can make money off this game from all your hard work. Anet pretty much ripped people off with Eotn and the BMP with selling a bundled re-skin of existing games...

When he says in his OP and message to anet that he gave some of his items to friends, that doesnt specify if it was for free or for cash. Im guessing it was for cash, but he is expecting anet to be able to proove this or give him his account back.

If you honestly didn't do anything to violate the EULA, keep working with Anet support using their support system. It's the only way you will be able to get your account back. That first response you got is an automated response. If there's a support ticket open, use that one to communicate with them instead of opening a new one.

I find it funny how many people don't find this serious at all. There is a time for cat pictures, along for being immature, and funny, and this is not the time. If the OP didn't sell gold, or helped someone sell gold for real world cash, and PlayNC can't provide hard evidence that he did, then wtf.

It would be more likely if.-
-the "friend" in question is known to be a gold-seller (or has a suspicious behavior of transfering large amount of gold to some random strangers for so many times, all the while remake his characters only for this purpose).
-the "friend" in question is known to assist a gold-seller by helping farming and selling items for gold (and then use that gold in above manner). So, if you keep giving this "friend" some items over and over you're likely to be considered a part of this gold-selling business too.
Just my guess.

It could very well be you had a friend on your friends list who dealt with "gold for cash" things and ANet assumed you were working together. Also, are you aware that botting is also a serious offense? All you see to do is complain and now you've been hit hard from them without serious evidence or reasoning. In fact, how do we know you don't plan to buy another copy of GW right now?

And providing "evidence" is worthless since:
1) if the person doesn't want to admit they did it, it won't change a thing.
2)gives botters & gold sellers cues as to how they pick them out.

But just the same. Gaile if you are reading this, I would like to suggest for the peace of mind of all the guildwars players that you post some of the procedures that led to the banning of the account from this person.
Not only would this show everyone that they will be caught if they violate the agreement, but that you guys are not doing it just because someone looks suspicius.

I've seen some people get banned, but they managed to prove they weren't a gold seller and got their account back. I have no idea how.
The game should have a list at startup of all the things you shouldn't do to be mistaken for a bot.
If you are in a zone full of bots don't stick around, don't use signposts and mouse clicks to move around and don't give or sell items you made from farming in that zone. That's all I can think of.
Doesn't help the OP though.
