full survivors, typical gear ect..

divine 12+1+1
smiting 12+1

divine boon
smiters boon
reversal of damage
smite condition
smite hex
judges intervention
boon signet
sig of devotion

very basic. keeping both boons active, using reversal as the main heal, and judges as a back up last resort aid/secondary healer, and both sigs for energy management. the support it offers as far as damage is of course questionable, but overall, its solid, and with a little practice, keeps itself full of energy the whole fight.

just keeping the game fresh for myself i suppose. i like to mix up playstyles whenever possible. try it out, leave feedback, changes you'd make, or whatever. try it out if you want a pretty easy, fun break from WoH :P

Meh. Congrats on discovering an old build? reinventing the wheel is awesome. It's a good break from WoH anyway.

Agree with Earth, gj on discovering an already used and abused build. BP is probably better to run than Boon Signet, especially in RA.

it didnt come up on search here or gwonline, so so-orry for being such a jerk and trying to be original? next time i'll do random global internet searches so i dont offend you... I don't think he means to be offensive. Just saying that its been thought of before, which isn't a surprise really. Countless builds have been lost and found again in GW.

@Karp, ran something similar for AB. Boon signet is a good move for addressing emngt problems. Definately fun to run a smite build once in awhile.

@Earth, I'm getting tired of tools posting links to obscure builds and attempting to call someone out. Are you kidding me? it's not like he posted a shock axe build. Cut a person some slack. If you want to point out that it has already been posted then do so with a degree of tact.
And to quote "Meh" on your reply.

with the buff to RoD, the build works nice imo. dont think id take it in to pvp but pve it fun to use

and rly the "its a wiki build, you suck" thing is getting old, just about every build is on wiki now i think. i did the same thing as karp "only i didnt post a new thread about it" when they buffed OoB, i went back to good old boon prots to get away from woh for pve, then i saw smiters boon "ive been away from game for some time and was going over the new skills" made a build with it, then saw some other guy posted it. i used defenders zeal other then boon sig tho. they both work, just a matter of picking with you better with or what your going to be fighting

well i really appreciate the useful feedback, and again, while its not the greatest build ever, i love the support capabilities of it, while still being able to dish out heals and a little damage.

and just a final thing about the "this is a wiki build":

yeah, i see your link, but with a game of this nature, the probabilty of using similar skill bars is obviously higher than other mmos...
if the build was such a popular wiki build, im sure i would have seen some other monks using it, which i havent, and i play north of 5 hours a day, almost every single day, so while i may have over-reacted to the "this is old news" comments, i still feel as though the egotistical elitist around here really need to get a better hobby than bashing people, and trying to look cool by talking down to everyone.

Does Smiters Boon double the healing of Divine Boon?

The skill description implies not, just curious as to why you run it.

As for why I run it? It pushes red bars up well enough, with a fair amount of incidental damage being thrown around - while in a higher setting, TA or GvG, this'd be cleaned up and laughed at - in RA, it can get pretty 'overwhelming' pretty fast.

One thing I do play around with sometimes is bringing Guardian in the last slot - melees training on one guy (usually you) is kinda gay, and RoD by itself isn't enough to handle the pressure.
It's almost as fun as a Mel's Resilience boonprot yeye

I use a similar build to the one posted, only instead of Boon Signet I go back old school with Offering of Blood. The sacc is still pretty strong though and it's only a build I tinker around with when I get bored in AB.

I find it pretty fun.

as for OoB vs boon sig:

obviously theirs a sac, but thats not what makes me use boon..

boon is a fast recharging, healing (i know, a tiny one), divine favor based signet, meaning pure energy, every few seconds, and as long as i have both boons on me, its 4 energy, and its easy to get the last enchant for the full 6 energy. i can pretty much use BS every time i cast RoD, meaning RoD is more or less a free cast. not to mention, in RA at least, the pure divine/smite split (12-12) is obviously nice to have, and while under pressure, i fear OoB might be counter productive at times, but thats just me!
