Willl ANet do Skill updates after GW2?

so, will ANet support skill updates and balances after GW2 is released? Will they still be holding cash tournaments?

I can actually perceive a time where PVP will slow down in some areas but also at the same time,,, it might be extremely interesting to see what will happen when ANet finally stop skill balancing and let chaos rule?

What will happen to HoH when the hardcore community pass on to GW2? Do you think that a new meta will reign supreme?

all i know is that when that happens, and 90% of the GW pop leaves GW 1, you can expect me to hit r15 hero in a minimum of 1 week xD

What ive been thinking of is "mini-exploits" such afk lb farming, gh glitch etc....

People always find new ways to "cheat" titles and eventually anet always stops them, But with GW2 out will anet have the manpower to maintain Gw1 AND gw2 at the same time. Cause everyone will be getting loads of max titles into their HoM very quickly if they cant continue to find and nerf these things.\

And then of course what will happen with pvp? With little people doing it i think pvp will probably be dead, unless anet somehow links pvp in GW1 to GW2.

While nothing has been said officially, based upon the staff at ANet, GW will probably see updates for some time after GW2, but in a reduced capacity.

i heard eventually they will stop making updates for gw1 which is probably for the better then every1 at anet can go work at gw2.

Why are you worried about it now? You have at least 2 years, any sooner then that and GW2 won't be wroth it.

I and probably most people on this forum would be very interested in where you heard that. Because the official response I remember is, GW1 will be supported with weekend events, holidays and balances until there is no one left playing.

they will probably nerf every GW1 skill to were no one wants to play any char. Make them move to GW2 so they can close servers down.

That work has already started by introducing Ursan blessing and the complete flooding of good gold items and upgrades.
