I'm finally ready to give the UW a try. This is the build I was looking at using.

http://www.pvxwiki.com/wiki/Build/Me_UW_Smite_Solo

When I saved it, it had 8 earth prayers and used mystic regen. All looked good but now with that build mystic only lasts for 13 secs at 8 now. I'm no where near mental block and I feel faithful would only help to get me killed.

Was woundering if there was any other verisons of this build or any other for smites. There's a Dwayna build up for UW but its the same thing as the solo build for FoW.

here's the one i've been using. It works pretty well most of the time. just take a longbow for pulling and remember to cast EA after AoB.

It looks like the D/Me build got updated. Mystic Regen was replaced with mental block. I haven't soloed smites (or been on my derv much) since Mystic Regen was nerfed so I'll have a look into that.

i use a variation of http://www.pvxwiki.com/wiki/Build:D/..._Hands_UW_solo

my setup goes: OgOl0opqKuas1AdJwlb/RHZkIPOw
10+1+1 scythe
8 wind
6+1 earth
5+1 myst
10 healing prayers

skills:
Victorious Sweep
Conviction
Rending Aura
Vigorous Spirit
Healing Hands (e)
Live vicariously
Balthazar's spirit
Pious Haste

Compared to the pvx article, i use victorious sweep over mystic sweep because it makes it nearly impossible to die. Aggro smites... 2 auto hits and a victorious sweep, then rending aura and HH. Whack them through your HH duration and they should all have blown SoJ by the time it ends. After that you've got the health advantage on them and are healing for 210 extra every 4 seconds on top of your 81 from vigorous/vicariously.

I also use vigorous spirit over mystic vigor for several reasons. First of all, i like to check nightmare spawns before accepting the quest. I just pop pious haste and aggro the two aatxe groups to make sure that a nightmare isn't ready to strip me while pulling graspings. If a nightmare spawns in a goofy spot which would hamper my ability to safely pull, i put up balth spirit, live vicariously, vigorous spirit, healing hands, and then pious haste aggro it. Since i have 4 -monk- enchantments on myself (as opposed to 3 monk and a dervish) the nightmare will kill itself on the rend. I can then drop aggro and start the run properly. The other reason for vigorous spirit is that it's on a 4 second cooldown and lasts 30 seconds (opposed to 12/20 on mystic). This makes it more foolproof since graspings cannot lock you out of it for long with a distracting blow.

I've also tested this several times on coldfires. You can kill they pretty easily, just put up vigorous/conviction, aggro them (hopefully while they're on top of each other) and wait for maelstroms to hit you while you're still not in melee range. When the maelstroms have fired, pop healing hands and smack away with victorious. After they're under 85% or so, victorious will begin healing you, making it that much easier.
