Clovers! Help, plz.

Before this event is over with I need too know the best area to farm clovers. Anywhere with alot of enemies will be nice.

I have just been Vanquishing and have got a ton. But any place that you can farm will drop them as well.

Anywhere you can solo with a lot of mobs near the entrance. Grawl in Eastern Frontier might be a good place. There are a lot right outside Surmia.

I did the first part of the Gate of Kryta misison quite a bit to farm mine. I also heard the raptor cave outside Rata Sum is good for killing a lot of things quick.

Most of the others arnt working well, or the mobs get the scripts and run away.

Could have made 500k or more this weekend...... instead of 5k ....

best thign is to do it solo hero take drops , i do the raptor farm takes 45 sec a run get 3 to 6 clover s 3-6 ales and 1 gold(not every time)(just average after about 300 runs)
use the fire ele but you would need highasura like rank8+ sence the flames dji nerf,
skilllis called mindbender, and you take out deadly paradox too

do you have a ele,war,or a rit
if so go to the CTC=central transfer chamber, and farm destroyers. you get lots of cores (they sell for 300-400each) lots of dyes (got 3 white and a black in the matter of mins yesterday) and alota gold and purp merch fodder (but hey those golds are always a plus)
I think i farmed 4-5 hours over the weekend doing rapters and Destroyers, got me to my next tier in wisdom,a stack of ale, close to a stack of clovers (used a few) and a stack of D cores. +all the dye
made 87k from the dcores,15k from the white and black dye drops,100k from clovers and ale(i will keep these)
so everything added up i made 200-250k (merch fodder and assorted dyes added in)

Due to loot scaling, there is no reason to solo farm for weekend items. Just kill a lot of enemies quickly over and over.

picked up 432 clovers and 401 ales and 4 black dye over the weekend doin glacial run. plus i did 2 full storage drops of unid golds.
id guess maybe 225k all told. roughly. its a grind but thats how ya make it happen.

Glacial Stones are definitely the way to go, got 2 stacks of the clovers and ales each. Plus lots of golds and glacial stones. Their drop rate is much better than the glacial stones are.

i personally do northern wall. large charr spawn if you run there which you can easily kill. i get about 4-12 clovers a run which is about 3 mins.

500k was just a guess.... I only farmed 20 mins over the weekend (got 7 golds, 1 white dye and ~50 event-items).... but I see quite many who made 200-300k

I duo farmed the first 2 groups at the secret lair of the snowmen most of the time last weekend. I calculated the drop rate an hour when I solo farm there and it's remarkably less than a duo farm in my case. My buddy needed ale and I wanted the clovers, so all turned out well and we had fun.

Clovers are garbabe why even "farm" them. They don't even have the same value as green candycanes. Some pct from 5 to 15 suks. You're better off farming the newbieland just outside of Kamadan for all this time and collect juvinile termite legs and sentient roots and save them up for next wintersday and turn those in for green candycanes. I scored over 1800 of them for last wintersday which is 600 green candycanes btw and I haven't hardly used any anyways. Not to mention you can play that newbie zone just outside of Kamadan in hard mode and get all kinds of great drops/gold. I found an r7 +11 offhand illusion just recently while farming there. Sure it's not perfect, but, r7 and only -1 energy I'll take that any day over r9 and have 29 attribute points to put into something else.

I played a total of 16 hours during the weekend and I got 28 clover and 22 ale. Most of them came from pre-searing
I think most of those who earned much from this especial drop are the ones who were spamming "WTB Clover for 100g" and then spam again "WTS Stack of Clover for 65k"

It's just a question of how long can you can spend on it, and how long you can stand the mind-numbing tediousness of farming. I want alcohol for my drunkard title, and the clovers are like mini-powerstones - very useful. But I'm not rich enough to buy a lot of alcohol or powerstones, so my resistance to tedium is high when those things are free for the taking...
I didn't farm them for profit - I'll be keeping them all for myself to use. The alcohol will go quickly, and the clovers are hopefully a year's supply, cos we won't be seeing them drop again for a year.

Loot scaling sucks. I vanquished around Rata Sum (3 times) for 3 blue, 8 clovers and 9 ales and only a dozen white crap. No golds what so ever. In the end I just did it for Asura rep points.
Remind me how do we get better drops again?
