Recreating My Main Character
Kiragi Yagami
Hey all, been thinking about starting fresh, making a new character to play on and baisically be my "HoM" character. problem is, i cant decide what profession to make -.- im torn between elementalist, paragon, necromancer, and ritualist. (NOTE: if i play a paragon, i probably wont be playing an imbagon, and by that i mean no SY! or TNTF!). i also am wondering what campaign to make this new character in (assume i will be going for LS (through normal means, by that i mean avoiding kilroy grinding and just PLAYING.))
can you help me decide? im looking for good armor/weapon styles, group availability, nice variety of skills, and a nice asthetic touch.

Sergeant of Marines
Go Paragon, Female, get Vabbi and or Fow armor and get a Voltaic Spear and tormented shield.
Gogogogogo Paragon
Gogogogogo Paragon
JONO51
Go para. They destroy Everything. Fun to get titles with aswell. I now have titles 6,7,8+9 coming (skillhunter). Most fun I've had on GW.
Zahr Dalsk
If you're not running an imbagon, then maybe make a Ritualist; they have some awesome armour and are the most flexible class in terms of variety of builds they can run.
jackers1234
or if you dont wanna be a sheep, decide which you prefer play, ie, caster or dmg, male or female. most chars will be able to find groups easily. as for armor, you have to decide that for yourself, as its entirely opinion based.
Lady Lozza
Pick the class that looks the best with the best (looking) armour
you will be looking at them a lot

Heavenly Messanger
Female necromancer, you'll love the versatility and sexiness. :P (also their destructive capabilities)
Secondly, rit, then paragon in third. and imho, not looking for a ragefest, but elementalists are too simple to play in pve, in comparison to the rest listed.

My Legendary Survivor is a female Paragon. She's over a year old, has beaten the campaigns +FoW cleared a few times and still has not died in all that time. I did not farm anything for the title, just played normally.
The 106 armor vs all (80 base + Centurion's insignias + base shield armor) along with all the excellent buffs Para dish out made everything cake.
As for armor, I think FoW para armor looks great! Vabbian is very nice as well.
My second pick would be Ritualist: nice armors, flexibility on builds, excellent survival skills.
Good luck to you!

I love paragons, but couldn't imagine having one as my main. There's not enough versatility with paragons, not at ALL. Elementalists are great, they're fun... just not my type so i can't really comment. I simply just don't enjoy them much. Ritualist, meh, effective in both PvP and PvE but i find them to be boring. I'd go with the Necro. Lot of versatile builds, including solo farming builds, can play healer/ss/mm/battery and accepted in groups... so i'd go with necro.
Adam of Tyria
I enjoy the Necro, just not MM. I like playing a curses necro or a support N/Rt.
Malice Black
Necro.
Though I like playing my Paragon, it does get kinda boring steam rolling everything.
Having good fun with a Ritualist at the minute as well.

Snow Bunny
Monk.
Go Elementalist I'd say. Very useful all around

...need i say more?
update, i decided to go with elementalist, after testing my 3 final picks (necro, ele, and paragon), in the end i liked the damage-dealing of the elementalist. paragons were too 1234 for my tastes, and in the case of the necromancer, i prefer destroying armies, not raising them. i leave the MM-ing to Livia and Olias.

If you want a title hunter and going for LS then go paragon. You don't have to run sy + tntf combo and you get a second paragon in Nightfall then to EotN for a third paragon and that combo will help out big time in vaquishing
Kerwyn Nasilan
Rits have the best armor hands down imho (its to sad it is the only proffesion i dont have excluding mesmer
)

Eldin
Necros have some sexy armor (of course I'd say the females are sexy regardless), and have multiple uses. Also those lucky fiends actually HAVE a viable farming methods! Unlike most professions like us poor rangers who can only trap, farm cores, and pray someone is doing a FoW group not involving ursan.
