Chest running/Drop rate

Alright peeps heres my question

I consider myself a good Chest runner for places such as FoW and i have been recently told that the more ppl in your party the better drop rate there is. for chests. Is this true?
I understand the concept of a FoW farmer allowing chestrunners to join. Because he gets more drops if there are more ppl and then these ppl dnt pick up the drops that he drops.
(at least i think thats how it works)
Any way back to my original Q do u get more drops from chests solo Or in a group.

idk I think its just luck really becasue drop rates are those of 1 in 4 million on wiki and chests are more random drops then % because you use key and only you get drop so I would go for speed more drops more money

It's not a better drop rate. However, some people may rez you if you screw up the run, which means you'll make it to more chests.

ya only good think is others rez but then again if there fighting they still have to get to you and it would be faster to just restart well i would try both and see what you like

Hmm I'd hardly do CR with people I dont know. I remember back to joining a FoW CR with my ranger one time I died picked up my items but several other ppl died b4 picking up there items. The one warrior went got all other chests and then waited for the time to go on so all the items could be picked up by anyone.

Needless to say I left before sitting there to wait. oh and people suck :P

Solo or group drops doesnt matter anymore. It used to work prenerf where you could run with someone who wanted to max treasure and have them open every chest. You would just sit back and wait for them to open the gold one XD

I never need to be rezd i always found myself good at Chest running

And i just wanted to make sure that more ppl did not effect the drop rate.

Because i have run around FoW in HM and all i got was a purple wep and a gold hammer a crap one to :P
