i dont know if im just lucky or what but i had like 6 UW 55/SS UW runs and had all of them drop 3-4 ectos on the 1st two groups of Aaxtes

this happening for any of you guys either?

You might be jumping the gun, that could just be good luck.

You should do a few more runs, and see what results you get.

EDIT: And also perhaps post some SS's so we can believe it, if need be.

Statisitcal variance accounts for it. Come back when you have mathematically statistically significant results (same goes for the lockpick rention people).

if it is your first time on a character in a certain area the drop rates are higher... or so i have heard. other than that i have been getting horrid drops

I've seen no change at all. In fact, I still haven't gotten an Ectoplasm drop yet, so again, I've seen no change.

This apparently is true as I play different characters from time to time and notice an increased drop rate (nearly fill all my containers on one run) after not playing them for awhile. Then when I repeat the same zone with that same character there is a significant decrease in drop rates as I barely get the backpack full and maybe a few into the 1st bag for the full run and never get all containers full like the first run. I also find if I play with just my heroes 2 of them or even 1 that the drops aren't significantly any different than playing with 3. These tests are done in hard mode mostly as normal mode drops are pitiful to the extreme. I only play normal mode if there's an area I need to get through to finish the story otherwise it's always hard mode and usaully just me and my 3 heroes.

I've had that happen...once. Also had it happen on the last group of smites in the run. Once.

Never multiple times in one day though...I think I'll give it a shot tomorrow with my SS.

I did like 8 Smite Runs on my Ele yesterday and got a grand total of 0 Ectos. Pretty sure you were just lucky.

It's luck. You can get very good drops or no drops at all.
