So! here's my idea. I want to start out small and create a guild that helps players who are new the game at the places where they will be starting out, Pre, Ascalon, Kamadan and Shing Jea. For now I just want to leave it to those small areas until our reputation increases and the members and officers of this guild will help people that are new to the Guild Wars game get the hang of things. They will help out the new players with the simple little starter quests and teach them about their class and what would be the way to go with their class, all this while upholding ArenaNet's guidelines and rules for it's players.
I got this idea when I was bored one day and I helped someone in Ascalon do a simple quest. For me being Lv. 20 it was a piece of cake but for them defeating the boss was difficult. After I helped them I felt really good about doing it and I started doing it all the time in the evenings. I really want to put effort into this Guild and create a large Alliance of players that have the same passion as I do for the game and want to make GW a more enjoyable place for people. Hopefully when I get more experienced people to join then we can start branching out and helping players with quests and missions in all 4 games not just the starter areas. I wanted to know what Anet thought about that idea or if it was something they would advise doing, or if the Community Relations Manager has thoughts on my idea. My main goal is to help players and depict GW in a positive light, the way it's creators intended it to be depicted. I love Guild Wars and I want ti support then and help out.
I also plan to make a forum, which I have done for many other sites, should it get off the ground
So do you guys think that would work.
