Meditation on Armbrace Meditation

I've been pondering this, but would like some contribution from the community.

I am close to acquiring an Armbrace of Truth and would like to know which would be more efficient:

1) I sell it - prices are dropping gradually anyway, best to get the bang for my buck whilst the window of opportunity remains.

2) Trade it in for a tormented weapon. I like 'em, but I feel that selling it may be better off - besides, in the event armbraces DO crash, it's best to wait until then so that it is easier to acquire tormented weapons anyway.

What would you guys think would be the most economically rational at this time?

I'ts total speculation of the future value. I would say sell it before they're worth 500gp. Imo, delete it and therein keeping another ugly, Tron-style glowy weapon out of another persons stash.

Basically, do whatever you want. If you like the torment weps, get one. If you're farming it as an investment, then sell it asap since prices drop almost daily. By the time I farmed one I realized I liked the bmp weps better, and I still managed to get 100k+29 ecto, which was top price at the time.

Thanks guys, I'm going to try and shoot for before they hit <100k+10 ectos or so.

if the torment item which you are going to trade for is the 'not so popular' kind, in other words, anything other than shield, spear, scythe, sword ... its better to sell the armbrace for 100k + 10-15e and buy the tormented weapon for like 100k - 100k - 8e, depending on which weapon.

I'd sell it, because your gonna regret it when they start selling for 50k>

Yea sell it.. armbraces are dropping quickly. If you want a tormented item though trade for it and then still try to sell it. You wanna do this since f you can't sell it you got something you liek anyways. If you do just rinse and repeat until its too cheap .

Definitely sell it. You had the right idea, but I like Kobey's idea better.

Keeping items that are farmable as a investment is a bad idea. Buy to sell, never to keep.
