What profession should i choose

Hey I am just starting to play Guild Wars and I was wondering what everyone recommends as a good profession to start off with

Depends on what personal playing style you like.

If you want to be in the middle of all the action, dealing blows and scraping metal, go with a warrior.

If you prefer to stay in back and set everything on fire, be an elementalist.

I recommend playing through a few levels of all the different types, and seeing what fits your playing style. Than work on some serious leveling.

No problem, I just started a War myself and have to say he's pretty darn fun to play.

imo:

easiest way to start: Warrior
most useful char for pve start: Necro

one other question... Is there a way to look at info on your current mission or quest

Info on the current quest of mission, hit "L" and it will bring up the quest log. Find the quest or mission you want and click on it. It will give you the dialog of when you first accepted the mission. Also if you fail or remove the quest, you can always go back are re-accept it again.
