Ok well i made a monk a few months back and well i got caught up in making my ranger more Elite =P and well i worked hard on putting the monk together he had max armor he had 55 armor and weapons and welll he was missing a few skills for the 55 build he was lvl 14 and in droks, but like i said my ranger got the best of me and i trashed my Monk after getting all that stuff ( i regret it now ) so i took all the runes off his armor sold everything that i got off him but now i read that HM proph has the best solo farming for a 55 monk and i would really like to farm something other than Mountain trolls on my Ranger.....so i was wondering if anyone would mind telling me what your opinion is on this topic should i bother making another monk or just not bother ?

If anyone thinks i should make it mind listing everything i would need for me including
Runes, Insignias, and anything else that might be slightly Important

Ty Ahead of time =)

As for what you would need for a 55:

-5 monk sup runes
-energy insignias
-Ascalon City quest - health quest item. Can be bought if you don't have the time or patience to do the quest for abotu 3-5k (last I checked).

Personally I always found N/Mo better at 55 farming.

with what I read in your post it looks to me that, as a player, you are not the support type. People playing casters in general need have to be into the support role and its not a given to everyone. I have 10 different characters and play almost only with my necro (PvE) this being said, Rangers are awesome.

To answer your question... depends on what you want from your monk char. if its only farming, then I would say yes, create a monk but keep in mind it will be your ''money maker'' nothing else. learn a few runs, few farming build and keep it at that. you will have your toon for playing and spoil a bit (your ranger) and your money provider to get the cash you need to spoil your ranger.

Often people think because you have many characters you MUST play with all of them I don't agree each character can be specific to a task aka farming, running etc.

as far as build, equipment, runes etc goes... my best advice is wiki it, cookie cutter farming FTW, remember its not something you have to spend a lot of time in and often others who have that play style spend time in are probably better than any of us, non farmers, will ever be.

have fun and spoil your Ranger the poor thing deserve it

If you're looking to farm, a Monk is highly suggested. Truth be told, most classes can farm pretty efficiently with the exception of Paragon and Rangers. Consider making a Monk not only if you plan to farm, but also plan to play it as well.

You may want to try 600 as well as 55.
