Funny ways you lost Survivor

I've made a lot of characters in my playing, and I naturally try for survivor every time. The worst I've lost was 80k exp in until today, I lost 117k worth of survivor. 23k away from Survivor Title.

I was doing Tahnnakai Temple Mission on my Ritualist when it happened. We have an MM in our group and we were about to face the elementalist boss. I run in, the boss casts Silver Armor, the MM's Bone Fiends destroy my ass.

There is no funny way to lose Survivor if you are really set on obtaining it.

On my first attempt I lost it halfway through Rank 2 via lag (elastic banded just as Shadow Form run out) while running teams in Jade Arena FFF.

On my second attempt I can honestly say I was dreading something similar would happen towards the end of completing the title. It would have been just my luck, honestly.

I can now proudly show this:

Was on a rit (common theme?) and was heading to get some maxed imperial armor, when I passed by wing of the three blades or what ever and promptly got killed by him... didn't even realize that I had died cus I had a mez hero who rezed me almost instantly... almost cried when I realized I had died T_T

Left my character, went AFK to talk on my messanger. Nothing special but fun.

One hit kill from the Devourer boss in EotN char lands I cried.

I disconnected in punchout at 400k exp and got a death. Couldnt be bothered to start over though so I just carried on.

There is some quest that you get (I think to obtain Zenmai or something) I really cant remember. But right outside Kaining center if you have the quest active these Torment Creatures will spawn. The cool thing is that if you dont kill them, they will summon more (as they get close to death) and you get XP for killing them and this can go on indefinately.

So I setup some heroes to do the job for me and it was working, I would just setup the heroes and flag them out of danger and block them on the steps, the heroes would heal me and I had some smite enchants on (it was a while ago) that would kill the things eventually. I almost got to survivor (2) by AFKing and then one time it failed, some point while AFK I lost aggro of the Torment creatures and they went and destroyed my heroes and then when I came back to my PC I was at the rez shrine and the torment guys were there killing me repeatedly so I had like 140 deaths or so before I got back to my PC. It was pretty funny, wish I could remember the details. But it was like I was being taught a lesson for trying to farm the title like that.

lol mine was when i was farming devourers in the dessert, i just got my first level of the title and got a bit carried away when i walked into about 40 HM flame traps set by the devourers, i was motionless for a while...then i laughed. Was funny indeed

I had a phone call and went AFK for a few minutes while I was by myself dedicating a mini pet. Vampiric weapon + no monk along made for a sad day. I died all by myself with not an enemy in sight. I think Gwen was laughing at me.

I lost TWO survivors (Dervish and Paragon) within 20 minutes of each other at exactly the same spot. The very beginning of the Gate of Pain mission, the first mob of Torment creatures. In each case I was the only party member to die. I guess Mhenlo and Dunkoro conspired to get rid of me. Actually none of the rest of the party even took much damage. All I could do was laugh about it and it was actually kind of liberating

I have a Dervish at Lutgardis and i'm at about 700k exp. And i wanted to rename my characters. so i made a new Dervish..and i'm about to delete my R2 survivor char because of it. ;D
