As for what you would need for a 55:

-5 monk sup runes
-energy insignias
-Ascalon City quest - health quest item. Can be bought if you don't have the time or patience to do the quest for abotu 3-5k (last I checked).


Personally I always found N/Mo better at 55 farming.
You can obtain higher atts with holiday bonus buffs, shrine blessings, or even EoTN buffs that can be purchased from specific traders.
