Please help me with my weapon sets

Hey... for starters, the weapon sets are in relation to monks in PvP.
Having said that, I wanted guidance with what weapons sets a monk should have.
I already know of the negative energy set, and then there's the standard energy set, then I was told that there are two high energy sets. One will leave you with 3 bips of energy regen, and then the very high energy set will leave you with 2 bips of energy regen.
After looking around the forums, I saw that some people have different variations of weapon sets, and I'm a little confused with what to use; weather to put a shield with this or a focus with that. When should I use the staff?
I know when to switch weapons sets. What I need help with is, what do those weapon sets contain generally?

40/40
defensive
40/40 20% enchanting staff
high energy

+30hp Spear / +30hp +10AL Shield

+20% Enchantment duration +30hp 20%+20% faster cast Staff.
(usually Protection Prayers)

20% fast cast 20% fast recharge wand / 20% fast cast 20% fast recharge focus.
(usually Healing Prayers)

+15/-1 Wand / +15/-1 Focus +30hp

Add +5 e on the spear but what JR said thats most common for monks in pvp I think.

And a -5e spear in your inventory to switch to against active edenial.

And the scroll from Ascalon for the -2 energy you get from it to.
