Well that really depends on whether you want a ranger hero or not. They are godly interrupters.

If you're using a ranger hero, use him. He's a different species than humans so you can't get Aids from him, nor get EoE triggered.

The great thing about having multiple heroes is that you can set them up for different jobs and then you wont have to change them as much when you want to play. I typically use Jin as a Beastmaster, Margrid as a Condition Spreader and Pyre as a BHA Interrupter. Pyre is next on my "to-get" list, after all my secondary characters/mules get Jora.
