Say you lose connection in the middle of a mission, but you are able to reconnect after a few minutes. However, during this time, your party has finished a bonus objective. Will this bonus objective count for you even though you weren't there when it was done? Can anyone tell me? Thanks in advance.

Yes it does count. As long as you are on the party list, you achieve what the rest of your party does, including bonus points, etc.

As far as I know, you get credit whilst a part of the party, once you drop from the party, you no longer receive credit. So according to this, yes you should get the credit at your next login. I have completed quests in similar circumstances this way.

Thanks. So when you lose connection, you are still in the party?

Basically, if you get disconnected and are able to reconnect into that map, you'll get the credit for whatever happened. If you disconnect and can't reconnect to the map (either your computer shuts off or your internet disconnects or whatever) I believe you won't get credit.

Only once have I ever been disconnected, had to restart my computer, and still managed to return back to being in the middle of a mission. It was way back when Factions just began and my Ranger was on Arborstone. But regardless, what you say is true in the situation of disconnections during a mission in the case of restarting the computer or not.

When you unexpectedly disconnect (power surge, internet failure, things like that), the game keeps you logged in for 10 minutes. During this window you are allowed to reconnect. Anything that happens during this 10 minutes will be logged on your character. If you don't reconnect after 10 minutes, the game will kick you out of the instance. Anything that happens after this moment will not be logged toward your character and you will get no credit for it.

As far as I know, if you lose connection you are simply stationary and inactive, but all the time in the group. YOu still get objectives, you still get drops...
