A friend of mine bought the BMP with his normal Bank Card, which had Maestro on it. Mine has too, but I can't find the option for it, neither does that friend remember how he did it. Anyone that knows how this is done and if it still can be done?

Credit Card is not an option.

Thanks

I used Maestro using the in game store to purchase the unlock packages with no problem at all , it gives you a drop down list of cards to use.

Which one do I need for Maestro then?

Also, no matter what option, you can't enter your bank account number.

Thing is, I could send NCSoft a support ticket, but I need it for tomorrow. Buying a friend of mine NF for his B-day.

If I remember correctly, the UK has more options for payment than other places in Europe - there may not be an option for Maestro at all in the Netherlands. I've heard a lot of Dutch people complain about this.

Hopefully I'm wrong and they've extended the list?

Well there you have it. That friend of mine is british, and I'm dutch.

I ordered the game for my friend in a store though.

I just won't be able to get the BMP myself, without a Credit Card T.T

Funny enough, we Dutch are offered payment options that don't even exist over here (Carte Bancaire and Cart Bleue).

I think that has to do with the region we live in, not whether it's available or not in our country.

I believe "Carte Bancaire" translates to "bank card" so that will be the Mmaestro for you.

The maestro card in the UK has the security pin number that you need to buy online. The maestro card in most or all other European countries doesn´t.

Alas. Though you have the translation right, Carte Bancaire is in fact a specifically French product. (Don't ask why they'd pick such a terribly generic name ) I looked into it (and Carte Blue) a long while ago when they first appeared as entries in the payment options list. They won't fly for this Dutchman.

Ahh, sorry about that miss-information then... why would a bank choose such a crap and unimaginitive name for a bank card? lol

Keep in mind that, when you buy a campaign from the online store, it is automatically added to the account you logged into the store with. You won't actually get a key (or box) you can give to your friend. (Unless, of course, you log in with his account.)

I bought the box (quite some time ago now). And yes, if payments online were possible in NL without a credit card, I would use his account.

I think it's the bank card system in The Netherlands that is the problem, rather than NCSoft's billing options.

Switch/Maestro/Solo are options in Britain because, even though they are debit cards, they have exactly the same security as credit cards. Which is to say, not much - but enough for e-tail.

Sort it out, Dutch banks - the Dutch gamers are the most fervent in the whole of Europe! (From what Ive seen, at least )

Dutch people rarely have credit cards, idk, must be the mindset. If they do have them, they only use it out of country.
