My main character is a warrior and I was just wondering if it is worth it to spend 15k for 50 hp, or the 2k for 41 hp for his armor. is the 9 hp worth the extra money?

If you're going for the 'I have perfect equips, OMgz I'm 1337' Thing, then yes.
Overall, the 9 hp wont matter all to much, and it's not worth the 13k difference.
(But that's just me).

For general PvE, that 9hp really isn't worth it, tbh.

however, if you wanna be perfect and prepped for PvP, you take ever advantage you get.

For the huge difference in cost for a difference of only 9HP, in my opinion it would be better to go with the major. If you really wanted the extra HP, you could go for runes of vitae and/or survivor insignia along with the major vigor (the total cost of which would still be cheaper than a single superior vigor)

9 hp doesn't really matter but you have the reassurance of knowing your character has every advantage health wise.

money wise its not worth the extra 13k but if your going for 15k armor you should get one of these first.

9hp makes a huge difference. It's often what keeps you alive.

I've had several times where I survive with only 7hp and I have a Sup. Vigor equipped.

Exactly what I was going to say. Every single extra point of health counts, especially as a front-liner. Many times while vanquishing you will find yourself down to your last few points, those extra from the Superior will give you that extra second to click a skill or move away, or do what it takes to survive.

That's my two cents.

imo 9hp isnt worth 13k, but if you have money to waste then go for it.

If you plan on using your warrior as a runner I would defiantly spend the extra money to get that +9 hp. It makes financial sense, alot of runs you can charge 2-4k / person if you consider that If it saves you just a few times (which I promise it will) It will save you a few K.. in turn it will pay for its self.

Also, it's a must if you are going to be using your PvE Character for PVP. Every bit helps and that 9+hp could be the turning tide for your team.

Good luck!

I miss the days when these runes were 50k+. Absorption is now worthless because of their nerfs.

I've dropped below 10 hp several times and lived. And everytime I have I am thankful I dropped the 13k.

I have only used them when I got them in the course of pickups (however rare). So only my Ranger and my Warrior are equipped with them. IMHO for general PvE they are not work the extra cash. Actually, come to think of it, they are great for selling, and then spend a portion of the proceeds to pay for a major.

But, as a vanity item, they are not that expensive.

For specialized cases, the +9HP can help (in PvE). In PvP every edge you have as an individual is well worth the price. In PvE, the price is too steep (even now, compared to what they used to be) to justify IMHO.

I remember when i had a sup vigor during the 99k spike in 05. That was a crazy night. Personally, i wouldn't go for 13k for 9 hp, but if u got enough money, it helps alot. I was learning to run droks(back wehn it was 10k) and the double runners died, i was the only one left, i came outa the last cave of enemies with 1hp and got to droks. Crazy day

The only place it would truly be worth it is PvP -- but then it, like perfect mods, weapons, armour ect. will be needed.

If this is concerning PvE -- get it if you want, but yeah, that 9hp can keep you alive.

I use superior vigor runes because I think every little bonus helps some. They add up. However, I don't believe they are necessary. If you have the gold to spend then I would get one and if you don't I wouldn't worry about it too much.

Of course they are useful, but I wouldn't spend 13k for 9 hp (although I did =P but I wanted a "perfect" character and was comfortable with my wealth). I suggest buying a Major Vigor one and using a Superior Vigor one if you ever find one as a loot, but don't buy it unless you think you are rich enough.

I love the 1/8 a second I get from that +9 for the monk to finish casting a heal to save me. It's worth it for pvp because every little bonus counts. It's up to you for pve but if you plan to bring that character into pvp, please buy the sup vig.

Why settle for 41hp if you can go for 50hp? (that is if you can afford the rune prices)

Functionality over looks imo here ... will be weird if you see someone in fow armor but too stingy to spend on a sup vigor rune.

If price is a problem, probably try to farm the rune or settle for a major till you can afford one I remember back then, sup vigors were like 75k, and that is one good reason to consider major vs sup vigor.

For pvp yeah.... all the health matters; every little one of it.

Ah, memories...

EDIT: I did end up merching most of the sup absorbs I found, no one ever offered better than the merchant ;x
