Just noticed this.

There used to be 60 Vaettirs (in HM) in the area around the Bear Shrine in Jaga Moraine. Now there seem to consistently be only just over 30 in the northern area and none around the shrine.

I can only assume that this was done to make it easier to complete Blood Washes Blood, since the farm is hardly affected at all. Double the amount of zoning, but the kills per minute are about the same anyway.

There are 60 vaettirs still spawning in HM after multiple rezones. Perhaps you were in NM?

No, definitely in HM. Multiple rezones too. Weird, I must have a quest active or something.

Hmm that's why I never found Vaettir to be effective on my ranger. I've always had Blood Washes Blood active XD.

lol, I don't though. I do have the "meet Egil Fireteller" optional quest open though, I think.

It's definitely the quest. I had the same problem. Finish it up to get the vaettir numbers back to normal.
