Hi,
I just bought Factions via the in game store and I noticed there were no voice overs for the intro cutscene. I know there are supposed to be voice overs for it because there are voice overs for all the cutscenes in Nightfall and there was a voice over for the Orginal GW game. I thought it was odd that I did not have to do a big download after I bought it, now I see why.
Is there any way I can download the VO files or did I just waste $30 by buying it in game instead of in store?

I havent gotten anything from the anet store but it just seems like a bug. try restarting game/your compy and see what happens. I bought eotn and nf at a store and just put in the code, didnt even use the cd's, and everything has worked fine.

Yeah, the key code is all you use to activate factions, which you bought from the in game store.
That has nothing to do with getting voice overs or not, unless that key code had some limitation on it.. hypothetically.. which it doesn't.
So basically like mentioned above, try restarting your computer or just the game itself, and if that doesn't work then perhaps it is a corrupted file in the .dat, and you'll need to reinstall the game or just delete the .dat file and redownload all the files again.

Thanks for the tip about the immage command, that should help with the annoying downloading screens I get when I change zones. However that did not give me v/o for the factions opening CS.
If there is no v/o for the opening CS of factions then that is nice to know, I just figured that the other 2 campaigns had v/o factions would also. Can anyone else confirm this?
