Exactly. Prices for farmed sugar / alcohol Items have always been 100g per point which is half the merchant price for as long as I can remember and have been buying them.

At least every year I spent everything I had on sweets / booze at 100g per point. People that pay 300g per bunny probably do so because it is a bit cheaper the at the merchant, but they really should be half price.

I guess people that are new to the game dont realise this.

Red Bean Cake from merchant = 400g for 2 point = 200g for one point.

Half that = 100g per point, which is EXACTLY how much I will pay people for their sweets. I got several stacks of 50k worth of booze and sweets last year based on this pricing, and there is always someone in LA or Kamadan selling them at 100g per point.

Oh yea, at every factions event players sell red bean cakes for 200g and creme brulees for 300g.

I just started raptor farming today. VWK warrior, so no boss whatsoever....average 3 of each per run. not bad as each run is about 2 minutes. I time it with a golden egg...pop one up as I enter and it more than lasts the whole time.

If you're doing it in NM it should be only taking 1 min. Since Im not worried about getting money and all im after is treasure hunter points and sweet points its the way to go.

I cleared Arjok Ward twice in a full group, and only got 1. From farming it worked out at an average 2-3 per run.

This is just doing Nolani and Spiders outside SS hall.

You have to solo farm. You don't get jack in a full group.

Farmed semi-casually a bit over 2 stacks of eggs and bunnies each from HM raptors, got silly amounts of tomes and dye, something like 15 pairs of green daggers that I merched and 1 ele sword that I gave away for free. It feels so good to farm when monsters actually drop something (/boo to loot scaling), even if it's basically useless (maxed sweet tooth already). Best weekend event for a good while

Edit: Bug John: festival items are exempt from loot scaling, so it doesn't matter how you kill - you'll always get every bunny and egg that is forthcoming.

I was getting 12-18 bunnies/eggs in a run of Spectrals...most of the runs were good ones, but obviously there is those crappy runs. I once got 13 gold eggs in one run along with around 5+ bunnies. From a single group drop I think most was 7 eggs and 3 bunnies (maybe more). Spectrals were definately better farming for me than Raptors... I did my share of Raptors and Spectrals all weekend.

Ended up with 4 and half stacks of both bunnies and golden eggs, along with 100k in gold from selling stuff to merchant, 300+ gold weapz that I ID'd for Wisdom, 3 Black Dye, 2 White Dye, bout 40 mesmer tomes, 40 sin tomes, bout 10 stack of materials (iron, wood, dust), bunch of steel, crap loads of map pieces, 200 glacial stones, and some perfect mods. definately around 500k in profit.

Actually, it is a well known fact that the way you kill monsters (how many at a time and at which rate) has everything to do with how many drops you receive. When solo farming gargoyle skulls before last Wintersday I learned to adjust my farming run so that 100% of killed gargoyles dropped their loot

Hmm strange, it seems u get more from killing highend monsters than just any ole monsters.

I did some Crimson Skull farming with a SoJ/55 build+Siege @ Tsumei village quest, killed LOTS of em each run, and only got liek 1 or 2 eggs bunnies per run

Best farming big groups with AoE builds, or E/Me sliver. Why not farm in HM and get max gold drops along with it?

I managed to get about 650 bunnies and 630 eggs. Didn't farm the entire weekend, but I was getting 5-10 of each, every run (Spectral Vaettirs).

Yup, I noticed this very clearly doing the Spectral run. If I didn't use Sliver and just blasted them with Crystal Wave and Tenai's they didn't drop anywhere near as much. So now I get their health right down with Crystal and Tenai's then stick on Sliver to finish em up. Works nicely in getting more drops, especailly the stones.

Lol...ain't that the truth. I'm making much more now farming than I ever did before LS. I'm guessing it has a lot to do with the fact I get a LOT more golds per run. They sell for more than (white) trash loot, and the mods are a nice little earner too. No getting rid of LS, please

Anyhow, I got 2 stacks of eggs and a few extra, and 1 and a half stacks of Bunnies. I farmed a lot, but didn't glue myself to the desk enough to get more than that. Still...I made a nice amount of cash. I stuck mainly with Raptors, and moved to Spectrals now and then to break it up.

I'm just a noob in the middle of the Prophecies campaign but I was taking Olias with me to clear out the Tengu in North Kryta and was getting about 5-6 easter drops per run (plus a gold drop or two and several runes). It seemed like I was netting at least 1-2k per run which I could not have done solo.

Please notice that most of the profit was coming from special weekend drops that are exempt from loot scaling, and that was the very reason for the farming frenzy. 500k during a normal weekend just doesn't happen, or then I've been farming all the wrong places.

I think you missed the things like this...

The guy who had 3 plus stacks of destroyer cores. 5 black dye, 6 white dye.

I'm guessing a lot of us made money NOT just from the festive drops

Hell, I got so many Gold weaps my Monk went up a lvl IDing them. That's where most of my money this weekend came from...golds and mods. Keep your trash white merch food

Did you get all those cores during the weekend? It takes me a week to farm just 1 stack

Anyways, I farmed 6-7 stacks of both bunnies and eggs, and got amazing 15 black and 8 white dyes from the raptors.. Along with 100-200gold uniden

yeah, all this stuff in 3 days. It was the most hardcore weekend in my 3y GW history lol. I don't think I'm gonna do it again. I thought I would get more bunnies/eggs though

I guess raptors are much much better.
