Factions to Ascalon

I brought my character from Factions to LA and then ran him all the way to Ascalon. I wanted to do Cities in Ascalon quest to get -50 hp Grim Cesta, but Symon the Scribe would not give me mish. No NPC's were giving missions. What am I doing wrong? Also, is there easier way to get him to Ascalon than walking all the way? THX

Walking there/ Getting ran there is the easiest way for a non Proph character.

(And about the quest issue, I remember my char being unable to do that aswell, but not sure if it's cause of nationality or Already having done it)

unfortunatly, it is cuz of ur nationality.... do a proph charecter and get the quest and give it to the other guy is my only advice

Yes, as the above poster said - "foreign" characters can't do any quests available before Lion's Arch, they're availble to Prophecies only characters.

I may be wrong here butisn't the mission to get the -50 Cesta is for Proph chars only ?

You're not wrong, I just checked it on my Assassin and there is no quest.

All quests before LA won't be available to non-proph chars. Same with non factions characters, everything on noob island won't be available.

Same is also true with non NF chars on Istan, a lot of the early quests are not available.

Also, none of the missions prior to LA will give you any rewards, though you can still do them(and applies to the Shing Jae and Istan missions too).
