Weapon mods

I got a zodiac scepter from urgoz
max dmg rq9 15^enchat not inscri
but i cant add a mod onto it...
i know i cant add a inscrip but how comes it wont let me add a mod on it??

Because Scepters can't be modded.
Unless they: Came from Urgoz' or Kanaxais' chest, Nightfall or Eye of the North.

I'm guessing you got it as a drop or a normal chest reward.

agreed with tyla.if not from the chest of the elite mission(s) in cantha, then, not moddable. ^^

All wands/shields/foci from the pre-inscribable days (factions and prophecies) can not be modded in anyway (no shield handles, no focus cores, no wand wrapings).

That is why perfect stuff from those areas are valuable.

Though, Hawk, the end chest DOES give inscr (Which is the only exception to the rule).
