Sephis Sword
Sir Tidus
Does anyone know the meaning of "Sephis?" Thanks.
Covah
According to the dictionary:
SEPHIS Solvent Extraction Process Having Interacting Solvents
Other then that i don't know and don't really care

Ah, it's that Sephiroth again.
See, they'd have got in trouble with SquareSoft if they'd called it "Sephiroth's Sword/Axe, so they called it Sephi's instead.
Note - the above paragraphs may contain traces of lie.
(Deep down, I bet I'm right, though

Seraphim to Sephiroth? That's a bit of a leap, don't you think? Or even Seraphim to Sephis. Admittedly Sephiroth was the "One-winged angel" and all that guff, But he's Sephiroth, not Seraphoth.

Considering that the most common search engine results for 'sephis' are for GW, I'd have to say it's just a word they made up (perhaps specifically to sound soft and sinuous for the wavy Sephis Sword).
