I need suggestions on how to beat Tihark Orchard with a Paragon.
That would work 100% of the time.

My main problem is "Shields Up!" to be honest, but if someone can share a build I would be happy.

EDIT: Yay, done it.
Boo, got to reroll my character because heroes casted through mistrust and ended up killing me....
Roaring Ethers are pro spikers....

I imagine this would work. You have the NPC's there to help you too. I did this before the buffs to SU! w/ just regular para skills, but I remember the ToF tank someone posted awhile back and thought that it might work somehow.

Atts are probably 10+1+1 leadership (or just 11+1), 12 axe, rest in tactics. If you feel like buying those skills is another problem...

But wouldn't it be better to move some out of leadership, put it into Command and run Anthem of Weariness and "GftE!" in instead?

I just threw together a bunch of spear attack skills and never looked back. I imagine if ur doing it in HM this would never work but for NM I've never had trouble with what I used here. Beat the mission and then went back and did it again for masters.

just spammed the adrenaline based attacks... used leader's comfort as necessary

skill points are req for shield, 9 + 1 leadership, rest in spear mastery

just make sure to the guards are there to support u and there shouldn't be any problems

Anthem of Weariness is a good idea tbh i just started putting in random skills @ the end. 12 leadership is the breakpoint for 3sec burning on burning finale, but you can take some out and put it elsewhere if you don't mind 2 sec burning. GftE! can be put in instead of WY! or GS, i just don't know how the energy will be when running as the lone party member. (Although WY! + GftE! would work b/c the NPCs are there).

Spear Mastery is quite redundant against it now.

You have a bunch of Vabbian Guards with you. I also found out that either GftE or TNTF! includes the guards as allies and thus you gain more than 2 energy from their use.

Really the mission is A LOT easier in HM since all the Vabbian Nobles are lvl 20 and a group of them will ling rush lol kek the Skree

Spear Mastery is quite redundant against it now. well tbh i think that makes it easier because before SU used to have 50% block against projectiles ontop of a base of +24 armor. Now SU does nothing to protect them from the guards.

I just completed this mission after the update to SU so I know that mashing spear attacks still has some effect . Granted it might not be as effective as switching to an axe or sword but spear attacks aren't completely useless. Really the key is making sure the guards are there to support you. Leader's comfort can keep you alive while the guards do the dmg dealing.
