Dances based on XP

The profession based dances are great but limited. I propose a range of dances based on your XP level. /dance is the same as always. Hit lvl 20 and you get access to /dance2. There would be a new one for every million xp or so.

It would still be profession specific. Warriors would twirl weapons around. Eles could juggle fire, Necroes could raise the dead from animals in town (rats and things), monks could levitate or something. It'd be a lot more visually interesting than a title. It would also be available for perma-pre chars.

There are two downsides that I can see (apart from being functionally useless), it will increase lag in towns and won't really be available for PvP guys.

A new dance would be interesting but i don't think it should be linked to experience level.

Those solo farm would have a huge leg up on those who don't and I could just imagine the QQ that would happen from that.

People have previously suggested that PvE get some form of emote linked to the KoaBD title just like how PvPers get new emotes, I think if new dances were put in linked to the KoaBD title that would be kinda cool.

The thing is a title is a reward in and off itself. At PKM you get a new type of pet available anyway (if you have GW:EN). I'd like to keep the emote as a PvP thing. It's damn hard to get (I'll never have it - I hardly ever PvP). The emote should reflect how hard it is to get and only be available to a select few. Next we'll be wanting gold trim on our capes for a guild that has 20 KoaBD chars in it.

I was in pre-searing for about an hour the other day and from when I entered to the moment I left people were just standing around. They only have one title open to them. For this reason I'd like the dance not to be based on titles earned.

One of my chars is hovering a little below 6 million xp. He's capped every skill and has a pile of titles. What really is the point of the xp? I can't cash it in for anything. I could use the skill points for consumables but that's about it. It'd just be fun to have a bit more variety.

Besides is there a real need for new dances? Doesnt really have an impact on gameplay.

a) Better things for anet to do with their time
b) Experience... 55 monks would have better dances then some people with god walking amongst mere mortals
c) Dances... pretty meh... only really get used for the horny boys to use their warriors to rape lina, zho etc, or flash the nude ele dance around. Dont really see the purpose to a new dance.

MAYBE there should be a skill point - 1k idea or something to say gg with xp, or maybe something like after 5mill xp, every skill point earns you a free skill or something.

Otherwise, gratz on ur xp, but you gained it when there wasnt a reward for it, why should u now winge that there isnt a reward for it.

i would rather anet put their time into something better that will make the game more fun and playable.

I'd rather allow any character to dance as its secondary profession:

- /dance : Primary dance.
- /dancenew : Primary alternate dance (were available)
- /dance2 : Secondary dance
- /dancenew2 : Secondary alternate dance (were available)

Much less grindy.

How about we just get more emotes and have to do... nothing?

lol...I knew this was coming. Really, the only good reason for not allowing someone into a PUG is they don't have legendary skillhunter. I mean, come on. How basic can you get?

Really unnecessary and unneeded. It would just be a huge time sink for the devs that really isn't needed in the least.

I do have one question though.

Why is that? I have almost 2 mil xp on my PvP mesmer.

I like this, the headbanging emote for the necro is retarded.

Claude dances like a ranger, and it's quite estrange to see a necro do that.
