I'm logged in everytime I come here, and just lately I've been getting popups too, usually when I click to go into a forum or thread. Just now I hit the jump box to go back to Riverside and got redirected to a Casino site. I couldn't have hit the banner at the top by accident as the jump box is at the bottom of the page.

Should that be happening?

Saraphim, a casino site? I need the URL if you can grab that for me. Should not be happening when you are logged into the forums.

I'm wondering if perhaps I just had a bit of lag and my machine thought I'd clicked up the top.

Hmm... it just happened again. I just clicked on the top thread in Riverside (the guild thank yous) and got redirected to the Casino site again.

Now that I am a paid subscriber to Guru I no longer have problems with pop-ups at home, where I am always 'logged in'. My problem is at work, where I don't want to be permanently logged in on a computer where others have access.

The problem is the pop-ups actually interfere with logging in. There are usually at least two and they interupt when I am typing my name in to log in. Small problem, but a real pain when I end up having to retype my name in log in, and it always seems to intrupt the first two or three letters leaving me with "ckmonty" which I then have to delete and start over. The annoying thing is that no matter how long I wait, they don't do the interupt thing until I actually start typing my name.

my those are annoying, as for the casino redirect, that is weird, we shouldnt have those, you sure you have no spyware? does this happen on other websites?

are people getting popups when being logged in? that is what I need to confirm, because I am not getting them when being logged in, so if its only one person getting popups while being logged in, it could mean you have spyware on your system. Do a scan with AVG Anti Spyware and HiJack This.

No pop ups once I am logged in. It's the ones that interupt the logging in process that are bugging me.

If you auto log (I do that at home) the pop-ups (or pop-unders) should not be a problem.

I don't auto log at work, as others have access to this computer.

I personally get them every once in a great while while logged in, but I usually Right Click ---> Close before I see what they are.

I get popups when logged in sometimes...Its very annoying.
