(im quite new to gw and very new to these forums so im sorry if i posted this in the wrong forum)

ok, so yesterday i bought a gold, clean, elemental sword, it had no mods on it so i decided to make it perfect (15^50,20/20,+30) myself.when i was looking for mods i found a vampiric hilt (+3 health on hit and -1 health regen) i thought it looked cool and seeing as i was a monk, with mending, i put it on my sword. now i find that i dont like the vampiric mod, because i regen energy and health too slow.

my question is: would my sword break if i tried salvage the mod off it?
could anyone tell me which salvage kit to use so it wont break.
ty.

sorry again if this is in wrong forum

Use a perfect salvage kit, and your sword won't break.

They're obtained from certain npc's in GW:EN if you have i think r3 in a certain title. The question is though, why do you have mending? :P. It's bad on a warrior worse on a monk

Like other's have said, only a "perfect" kit will do it

Just have to add though, if you're planning to use the sword on your monk you may want different mods to 20/20 15^50 anyhow. Caster mods like +5 energy inscription, and 20% longer enchant mod might be more what you need

Or you could also creat a warrior and use the sword on that character Though make sure you don't customize it first

EDIT: scrap that, I see you're a W/Mo, not Monk main Got my wires crossed.

It might break if you expert salvage it, not if you ''perfect'' salvage it.
