Fairly new here (2 month vet) and I have a lvl 20 (non-ascended) R/Mo and a lvl 18 W/Me and now face the higher level needs of the game. I recently bought a green bow for Jon and a green Axe for Tars, they seem to be fine but the problem is "I really don't know' So to the question(s):
What is a Max weapon and in particular a max Bow and/or Axe.
I read a lot of +5 20/20 etc stat but don't truly know what it means, For example my Green Bow:
Zelnchlun Long Bow
15-28 Damage
Damage +15
Armor -10
Armor Penetration +20
Health +30
Is this good, can it be changed (so far no luck adding upgrades) and is it a perfect or max bow?
I'll stop for know until I get a few responses.
Joe

you got max damage for wepeans
bow its 15-28
axe its 6-28
also perfect axes and bows believed 2 have 15^50 mod 30 hp and 20/20 sundering mod
but there are many "perfect options" like a vamp mod with 30 hp
or zealous mod and +5 armor
if you want a good bow i would say try 15^50 20/20 sundering and 30 hp
bow its 15-28

A serviceable weapon, but not the best for all your needs. Greens while neat and nice named are not always the best as they are what they are and you cannot make them to your specific needs

As always thanks a ton for the quick replies, just a little further help needed. In the reply below what exactly do the underlined stats mean? I do understand some from the wiki and the refrences in other replies but I am joping for the 'lazy man' -- Stats for Dummies version.
Thanks again

Thanks again

30 HP = Bow Grip of Fortitude, gives 30 health.
20/20 Sundering mod = 20% Chance on hit for 20% armor penetration (Sundering Bow String)
HawkofStorms
Sundering however, is garbage. It is by FAR not the best option for a bow, especially if you run a B/P build. It is, however, what people refer to as "perfect."
And a 15%, -10 armor while attacking is still perfectly useable.

A Max bow, is just the damage. (15-28)
a Perfect Bow is 15^50 (15% dmg while over 50% hp)
20/20 (20% chance for 20% Armour Penetration)
+30hp (Provides and extra 30hp)
And as for green items, most of them ARE Perfect but some (Like your bow) have sopmething different about them eg vampiric or zealous.
Green items are good for someone who hasn't got enough money to make custom items that are more suited to your build (eg barbed for +33% bleeding duration instead of sundering)
