anyone have a good low-end chest route for lucky points?
jhu
i've tried running around in the ascalon area, but the chests are really hard to find. i don't want to go to witman's folly because my lockpicks always break there.

Im also allways out looking for a good low chest area, to raise my lucky title... I heard its better to do it in groups, that way your find the chest alot faster... other than that you can allways hope for another double lucky weekend... last time it happen around may 18 2007 so im hopping they might do that weekend again around may 2008.

A while ago I was running with a group just outside Kamadan. It was a bit faster then solo, but still sooooooooo boring and slow. If anyone has a better run please share some ideas.

Im certain that ascalon is definately the easiest place for this. Or outside shing jea monastery.

I'm not sure if this qualifies but I'd say the Secret Lair of the Snowmen. I saw about 3-4 each time through, and if you do it in NM it would probably take less than 15 minutes to get to all the chests, and it's easy to do with H/H.
Sorry if this doesn't help.

Ascalon is easyest but i get my lucky points With Hm running FTW

Any of the beginning areas basically. Outside Shing Jea is where I go when I actually do run.

I heard Plains of Jahrin was a nice spot, but Shing Jea probably works too.

I concur with RedNova88. The Secret Lair of the Snowmen in EotN will always have 4-5 chests in NM. Once you do it a few times you can do a run in about 8 minutes. The bonus here, over Ascalonian chests, and early NF chests, is that those early level chests do not count towards your treasure hunter title. Snowmen Lair chests do. And you get party supplies at the end from the boss chest... Just take 3 MM's into the snowmen lair and assorted henchies and watch the rolling tidal wave of minions....

Save your money.
If you just want the lucky points, playing 9-rings is FAR more efficient, faster, and cost-effective.
Now, if you want to just open chests just because... eh all the options above are good (although if you are going for lucky, I don't see why you'd be trying in HM... so I wouldn't suggest that).

running shing jea/ascalon/istan chests is by far the fastest/cheapest way of raising lucky if you already have a few ranks in treasure hunter and lucky. I have a 91% retention rate on these chests so the actual cost of running them is very low per lucky points. As an example i needed 500k points to go from r4 to r5, using lockpicks on ascalon chests with a retention of 91% it should cost about 210k (based on lockpicks at 1.2k each), From the calculations on Wiki going from r4 to r5 would cost about 400k using 9 rings.
Also the boardwalk is only available for very limited times of the year.
I personally run chests in ascalon foothills, small zone so quick and easy to find the chest.

The melandru run is short, pretty easy and has good loot. And if your guild own a kurzick town you can get keys cheap too.
It's maybe a bit challenging but my Rt has been soloing it for over a year

So? I mean it's a good run, and it's effective too.

Go out of Kamadan or Shing Jea. Chests in the Ascalon area seem pretty unreliable and fairly rare.
