Background (Includes Gw2 spoilers, only part)
This is my newest idea for gw2, the Afflictionist, when Cantha was cut off by the un-dead corsairs and new Emperor isolated the Luxon and Kurzick, the remaining canthan's in the Kaineng area had to deal with the afflicted that still roamed the city, the am-fah began to experiment with the affliction diseas and began to inflict only parts of their bodies to give themselves unnatural weapons, but then after years of....procreation... the Plagueborn children of the Am-fah
were rounded up by the Cantha guard, and enlisted to serve the emperor as the city guard, forced to hunt down afflicted.
Attributes
Mutation:Primary Attribute:Allows user to deal more damage with the martial weapon they are wielding.
Containment:Used to save guard party members and allies by casting enchantments to protect them from harm and from their disease.
Infection:Used in infect diseases upon their foe's allowing their sickness to infect there foes.

Skills:
Mutation
Afflicted Strike; Melee attack, 5 energy, recharge 3.
If this attack hits, you strike for +10...34 damage.
Afflicted Shot; Ranged attack, 10 energy, 6 recharge.
If this attack hits, you strike for +5...17 damage.
Afflicted Smash; Melee attack, 7 adrenaline.
If this attack hits, your target is knocked down.
Mutated Defense; 5 energy, 20 recharge.
For the next 5...10 seconds, you have a 50% chance to block all projectiles and melee attacks.
Containment
Sacrificial Aura; Enchantment spell, 10 energy, 10 recharge, 2 cast time
For the next 15...51 seconds, whenever your party receives a Condition, that Condition is transferred to you instead.
Purge Condition; 5 energy, 10 recharge, 1 cast time.
Remove all Conditions (Poison, Disease, Blindness, Dazed, Bleeding, Crippled, Burning, Weakness, and Deep Wound), you are then healed 10 for each condition removed
Cleanse with Fire; 5 energy, 1 recharge.
[Elite Skills] Removal all conditions from all allies in the area, for each condition you are set on fire for 3 seconds, for each party member with in area you are then healed 20 health.
Infection
Mind Fungus; 10 energy, 20 recharge, 2 cast time.
Target foe and adjacent foe's are hexed, while hex they attack 25% faster, but have a 75% chance to miss, every time hexed foe misses they take 10 damage.
Breath of the Infectious; 15 energy, 30 recharge, 3 cast time.
[Elite Spell] Target foe is inflicted with Disease,Bleeding,Poison,and Weakness for 15 seconds. If a foe is hit with in the area of target foe, all conditions on target foe are applied onto them.
Afflicted Rage; 10 energy, 30 recharge.
[Elite Stance]You attack 33% faster for 5...30 seconds, you gain double adrenaline, the skill ends if you use a non attack skill.

Weapons;
Afflictionist can use any weapon, the stats of the weapon stay the same, as in swords are 15-22 req 9, and hit ever 1.33 seconds, but when putting points into Mutation you change how much damage you do.
a normal sword dose 15-22 damage, and will land 31 damage with a critical hit.
with rank 12 mutation, damage is applied normal but +15 damage, and hits every 2 seconds, with only a 21 amount of damage done with a critical attack.
Basic formula for this would be, attack speed, +.67 seconds. +15 damage, -10 critical damage.
Afflictionist would have 70 armor, 25>> energy, 500 health (480 start, +20 health on chest)
