Retro Arena's

So I've had this idea pondering in my mind for quite some time now. I would love to see a team arena's in prophecies where only the original six original professions could enter and would be able to only use prophecies and core skills. I've always enjoyed prophecies more, both for pve and pvp. I guess I'm feeling a little nostalgic

An important feature of this arena would be that you do not get glad points. Just faction. How it used to be. There simply is too many people who are only concerned with gaining their title and it has made team arena's stale and too boring for me to enjoy anymore, at least as much as I used to anyway. This could be a place where people simply play for fun, with no hidden agenda's of title gaining, and also a place for those who enjoyed earlier pvp experiences as oppose to todays.

I doubt such an arena will be implemented but I thought I would post this and see how many like minded folk there are out there.

So...what do you think?

well if you want to go nostalgic might as well only get the 25exp when it first started, you didnt even get faction and when they implemented it you only got 2 faction points

Let's not forget the reintroduction of attribute refund points.

Just because you enjoy prophecies more, because you do not like to adapt, does not mean that the rest of the community should be restricted from playing in certain arenas. I could understand a core profession only arena, but unless it is restricted to core skills only (which would be bad) would need to allow all skills from all campaigns for those professions.

This has been discussed countless times. It's not going to happen, even though the game was the best back when it was just Proph.

Or you can make three separate arenas for each campaign.

Reopen the arenas from Prophecies *excluding Tombs* and have them as those "special" arenas

Maybe your right, perhaps ditch the faction in this arena as well, you play to win, no side reward.

Its not a case of me not adapting, its a case of i've played this game for a long time now and looking back on things i would like to see there be somewhere in the game that i could go and play pvp with just the prophecies professions/skills.

This had crossed my mind, a factions/nf arena (inc.core).

Already suggested, and it's still senseless.
Favoring Dervishes is not a reason to keep someone from playing.
