I think all events now will be recycled copies of previous ones. With Anet being busy with GW2 and whatnot, I don't see them planning and going through with anything really new. Hats I'm not too sure of. Of course, if they recycle them all, that may be a good thing for me...since I'd be able to get a Dragon Mask this time >_>

I probably wouldn't even notice they were recycled until I'd fight myself trough a 50 page Guru thread with people threatening to kill themselves if we don't get something new/better/more blue/pink/flowery/...

i wish they'd just make festival hats that were a challenge to obtain, that were recycled skins, with max al mods (or even just cost money/materials)

the Lion Mask recycle was kinda a disappointment for me....its a rubbish hat

I honestly don't think they are going to recycle masks. And if they do, then I can get hats I missed out on.

They probably recycled the Lion mask because the 'new annual thing' was the miniature, not the mask.
Then, some events may run out of ideas for hats, but others have a lot to go yet.
- Dragon festival: All demons masks, then all dragon masks, then repeat.
- Wintersday: Use up all contest ideas, then repeat.
- Halloween: Monsters are almost unlimited, earth may crumble before they run out of ideas for this.

Well, after GW2 is out and all the 'I want the last top notch unique stuff" players go there (thy wouldn't be so if they stayed in GW1) there's is no reason to keep anyone from getting anything. Even the Tengu masks.

They specifically said that the lion mask was the only hat that they would repeat, because the hat isn't the "end of festival prize"; the mini was last year, the boxes of fireworks were this year. Every other hat will remain unique, though I won't put it past them to make variations on a common theme. Wintersday is Wintersday, after all.
All festivals are still running, the major ones are getting new things added each time.
Still getting skill balances, whether you like them or not.
We're still getting bug fixes; FoW in particular just had a lot of failure bugs fixed.
DAW weapons were just added to the game.
Concise skill descriptions, completely new and random feature, but functional, just added.

I dont see them recycling anymore hats, but ya never know. As for Storm and his threads, i would say that he starts more than any one person has ever done. Unfort many seem to be more of the nonsensical nature.

After they recycled the last one and made it so you could get it I was P##### cause they always said if you weren't there
you won't be getting it cause stood for "You were there and meant something"
WELL that went out the window didn't it.
I have all but a few from the beginning of GW I would love BUT they DO mean something special to people who were there
so NO I hope they don't recycle the old ones anymore just have new designs from the community.
