I started a Dervish for PvE and got distracted, but I went D/R because a poison dealing dervish sounded like fun. PvX doesn't have any builds for PvE players that are /R (other than /Any). Are there any good skill combos for a D/R beyond Poison?
Once I get her to where she can swap secondaries, this won't be an issue, but I'm curious if the initial idea of the character will work or just go all derv till I can swap later?
Any usefull D/R builds out there?

The standard VoS Derv can rock out 120dps with decent pve ranks at the expense of having any utility.

If you have Factions I'd recommend [skill]Vow of Strength[/skill][skill]Aura of Holy Might[/skill][skill]Heket's Rampage[/skill] And various enchants. If you have a monk hero set to smite with Strength of Honor and have them maintain it on you it will boost your damage through the roof.

I generally like to do my own builds, but I find it helpful to see what others are doing for good ideas. They'll often point out a skill I overlook.
Anything else? Or is VoS the way to go to utilize the ranger utility?

Maybe antidote signet to remove conditions, otherwise hekets rampage + vow of strenth seems like the best idea.

There's the Vow of Strength guy using Heket's Rampage, as has been said.
The other one that's almost decent is a bow-wielding Ebon Dust Aura blindbot

VoS does less damage then AoL and enchantremoval shuts it really down a ranger blindbot is better

EDA blindbot is good, however D/P is better at it.
You can also just roll a normal dervish build and don't touch the ranger skills
