I've considered using EBSoH with [skill=text]Animate Bone Fiend[/skill] in the past. I couldn't justify taking a Fiend MM over a Minion Bomber but is a workable combination.

if your a tank it should be easy :P just follow those dam maniac minions and put it where they are

If you're going to use the ward to buff minions then you should really be using Fiends since they have the best DPS (or something like that). In that case then it's easier to put them in wards, being ranged and all

it works, but much better if you're the MM and you've got standard. Only viable with fiends tbh, focussing on single targets. Minion bombers do more DPS and it's AoE dmg and condition etc.

My idea is to use that for summonway. All mesmer group with ebon assassins spamming with arcane echo, have one death's charge into a mob cast the ward and recall out for even more damage.

As long as you are melee it works great, as you are probably already up next to the minions.
