General:Every existing class earns xp the same way to level. This class only earns xp by hanging at the near death zone(20% hp and less) and living past the experience. Also, only by hanging at the near death zone can this class use any of its more powerful abilities(elites), or can use this ability when a party member dies; the ability being known as rage. This class relies on energy and adrenaline skills, but the adrenaline skills can only be fed from the rage pool, which can only be depleted, not built up like a warrior's adrenaline. The uniqueness from leveling, conditional health based use of elites, and a rage pool is a rather novel addition to the game, as well as forcing the monks to keep one red bar alive and yet below 20% for effectiveness. Fun huh? =]

Explanation:If I really must =] This class does not use weapons at all, but a form of martial arts, and they float like mursaat; don't ask. The racial attribute will be much like a ranger's expertise, but called Power Level; it will significantly reduce energy skill costs and significantly boost damage from all skills. Another attribute will be labeled Rage, from which only rage skills come from. A third attribute will be labeled Transferrence, and will cover skills that boost party members with energy, adrenaline, and other boosting effects. The final attribute will be labeled Technique, which will cover energy based attacks.

Armor Level:
caster armor only al 60

Energy Level:
base 40 energy, energy regen base 4; increases with lower health range

Range Type:
melee only

Although I cannot for the life of me cite where I got this idea from due to my friend Copyment Infringeright, I must honestly admit despite the sillyness with which I started this post, this would ironically make a good class with the new playstyle and theme it will bring.

Actually, that's interesting. I guess every online player in a town/outpost would loose 1 energy which would end up as 1 point of damage for your spirit bomb. So if you're on at a really odd hour where only theoretically two people are on, tough luck. Gah, as for originality, I know. I was thinking how cool it would be to have a class achieve something differently than the others;the way we gain xp, levels, use elites, etc., and this was the only thing I could think of at 3 am. =]

Now the real question - can you make two Saiyans on one account (or find a friend) and then fuse them together into one stronger character?

No, this was not an attempt to troll, and yes/no. I at the time was thinking of a class that would provide a new way to play the game with already established game mechanics. For an inconclusive pve example, bear with me here; The ele was about bunching up red dots to nuke(minimap camper), mesmer about gunning the enemy's skillbar(skillbar camper), monk was looking at red bars on right and keeping them up(party health camper), sin was about skillchains, rit about looking up top left. So I was thinking of a class that would provide a new way to play the game with already established mechanics but that wouldn't be a copy+paste attempt of existing classes like a summoner for instance, we already have mm for that, or bard, the paragon fits that bill minus the musical instrument. Getting xp in this new way, the only thing I could think of on the spot without developing a university degree on it was, a saiyan. Backed up by the fact that anet likes to do silly things for the fun of it, I went ahead and posted knowing full well the slim chance of it becoming real. Seeing the negative comments though, maybe I should've put up a really cute avatar and put in bold 'please don't flame me'. Gah, if ppl take it for the intent to provide something new, rather than end of the world serious, I'm happy. =]
